What is Teeth Straightening?
All forms of physical teeth straightening use gentle pressure to move teeth into a more aesthetically pleasing – and sometimes functionally improved – location.
Which clear aligner therapy systems do you provide?
Invisalign® has a proven history and high success rate, which we believe is the top outcome all around. We have been accredited as a Platinum II Provider for Invisalign, which is a testament to our success in providing the most popular and scientifically driven clear orthodontic system available in the world.
What are the advantages over traditional braces?
The main advantages of clear aligner therapy such as Invisalign® are that they are discreet and removable. Unlike traditional braces, there are no metal “brackets” bonded to the natural teeth, and the aligners are barely visible.
Removable aligners have the added advantage of good oral hygiene maintenance as it is easier to brush and floss teeth.
How long do I have to wear the Invisalign® aligners?
You will visit your dentist for regular appointments every 4-8 weeks to review and oversee treatment. Your dentist will give you enough aligners at each appointment to take you through to your next visit.
Each aligner is changed every 7-10 days. These are conveniently labelled so that you are aware of which aligner is to be used next. It is recommended that you wear your aligners for at least 20 hours per day for the fastest and most reliable results.
What will my teeth look like afterwards?
Before your treatment commences, you are able to view a 3D digital simulation video that will show you a week-by-week progression of your treatment so that you can view your finished smile at the click of a button.
